Our Priority
Vineland School District (VSD), the Nutrition Services Department is dedicated to supporting student success through a whole-child approach that recognizes the vital role of nutritious, well-balanced meals. Our mission is to provide high-quality, appealing meals that nourish every student and help them reach their full academic potential.
Our Department
Every day VSD Nutrition Services, Serves Between 540-600 breakfasts and 590-610 lunches, along with after-school supper, snacks and summer meals.
Thanks, to California's Universal Meals Program, all students receive free breakfast, lunch, supper and snacks, removing barriers to healthy eating and ensuring equitable access to nutrition across the district.
Nutrition Education & Community Engagement
We welcome input from students, staff and parents in our menu planning process. Your suggestions and feedback help us continue to grow.
All meals, foods, and beverages served or sold in our schools meet or exceed state and federal nutrition standards, based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. Our Goal is to offer students a wide variety of nutritious, affordable, and appealing food options that support their health and learning.

Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Information
The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is a federal and state tax benefits for working individuals and families with low to moderate income. It can significantly reduce the amoutn of taxes owed and my result in a refund.
to qualify, you must meet certain income and residency requirements and file a federal tax return - even if you do not owe any taxes or are not otherwise required to file.
